You know it is easy, too easy to get caught up in the negative. How about the positive though? What is going right in your life right now?
Me?
Well my tarot web site is steadily getting more and more visitors and I have made a few dollars here and there with it. I just wrote my first column for an online pagan news letter called the controversial cauldron They want to make me a regular contributer. I am moving to Little Rock in less than two weeks..which I am looking forward to greatly.
So, anyone else wanna share?

`The best thing going in my life is I have a wonderful family, my health is good
I have a roof over my head and a car to drive to get me from point A to point B.
What else could I ask for. Isn't it great to be alive!!

`I think it is personally. Don't get me wrong, some days just royally suck, but over all every day is a step closer to having the things in my life I want and need. I have friends and family who love me.I have my spirituality that keeps me blessed..no matter what happens, I know I will always be okay. It wasn't so long ago that this wasn't true for me..but it is now.

`Hi merinass, try to keep the good things and build them up. The other ones are crossing anyway without invitation...I have to say, I am glad that I looked over the fence this year, worked with children and women for more than 20 years, this year I started to work with the other site, the rapers and killers. What a challenge..a hard job but good for your own developement. And the other good things: wonderful kids and grandson, so friends, three dogs and two horses, 50 years old and still full of energy (ask my Kick-Boxing trainer, he often gets in trouble when fighting with me...lol), I created my own club on another native site....for lost souls, I had the best teachers in my life I can imagin: my shaman grandfather, my Oglala teacher and my childhood full of suffer and violence that made me that diamond I am....lol..no, the best thing is very simple: I AM ALIVE !

Well, I'm not living on the street, and I've thus far managed to cope with the extremely negative dramatic atmoshpere of my family. Not many people unfamiliar with such an existence could stand living in a house with around 12-20 people living at all times; although, most are children and two youngins. Aside from my newfound tolerance moving home from school, and my hopes in looking for a job, I'd say everything is very good compared to most people in this world. A roof, food, family...not many people have these three things daily. They are the basic necessities to life and you need nothing more to survive.

`To both of you straighteyes and john..hats off to you. I would think it would be nearly impossible to work with rapists and killers..for me anyway. Not sure I could do that and it takes someone of a special type to do it.
I have my needs met..not hungry, got a job and friends..family is pretty far away, but I talk to them and feel their love.
So you kick the kick boxing instructor..they say the hope of every true teacher is for the student to surpass them..so congratulations..sounds like you're there.
I try to focus more on the positive aspects of life and it helps. That is one thing that my teachers have taught me. I have had many..most people that I admired and respected that seem to get through even the worst of times with a good attitude. Attitude will make you or break you..I choose to let mine make me now a days.

`I remember my grandfather talking about coming to America from Sicily in 1904 as a 7 yr. old child alone on a ship to be with his dad who came over 1902.I remember him telling me of picking my grandmother up in a horse an carriage, to think of all the things he saw in his life time, electricity, cars, planes, man on the moon, and so much more.. I miss him and wish I had listen more to his stories when I was young.
I am grateful for him for with out him my dad would not of come along and married my Native mom and I would not be here..Times where rough growing up as a person of color , but it made me who I am today.I am thankful to have family healthy, home, and peace of mind.. I as a lot of people could be without, and only a few paychecks away from being without..I have met wonderful people here, and I wish all

`That is beautiful. At the end of the day it is the wonder of this earth and the miracles I see that I think maybe we get in too big of a hurry to see, that brings me back to what is important. No artist ever really captured the sun set or water glinting off the ocean at first light, right when it is just peaking over the horizon line. No one has ever produced music as pretty as a thunderstorm and the rain that comes down. It is in nature that true miracles happen every day..if we just would stop and see it.

`I agree with all of you, even the negative things that have happened to me and my pack, we take them all as lessons learned. Life is a lesson. And I am very greatful for all my life experiences, because without them I wouldnt be who I am today! :D

`Exactly right Roguewolf..you know I asked my Gods for a break..said I didn't want to learn anymore..take my word for it..don't EVER do that..life gets dark..FAST!

`CAME TO THIS SITE AND HAVE MET A FEW KOOL PEOPLE. I LEARNED HOW TO MAKE DRUM AND AM TRYING TO START A CLASS IN DRUM MAKING. THATS A COUPLE GOOD THINGS. OH AND I AM MAKING MORE MUSIC AGAIN, DIDN'T EXPECT THAT TO HAPPEN.

`I'm glad to be native, a member of my tribe and lucky enough to have elders taking the time to teach us our ways. As I get older, i realize how few people have an identity to guide them when life's choices become more difficult and the consequences are harmful to others...
